My Perfect World Has No Screens

Despite the technical pomp-and-circumstance I don’t want you to get it twisted, my Perfect-World has no screens. If it were up to me our world would be one continuous Hobit-like-Holiday, full of multiple breakfasts and breaks…

In all honesty
MY Perfect-World is a bit extreme:
❌Social Media
❌Screens
❌Electricity

MY Perfect-World is entirely:
✔️Clean Water
✔️Healthy Soil
✔️Orchard Rows
✔️Secure Families
✔️Vibrant Communities

However, like many of you, I have been forced into Modern Convention…

Something is terribly wrong in our World and we can all feel it.

Through The Looking Glass Darkly

There are a great many of us who desire a simpler, more natural living. Who desire a life of luxurious mornings and heartfelt graces. A life where tending the garden as well as tending to friends and family are the priorities.

We desire a REAL LIFE
Full of nature,
Full of connection,
Full of meaning…


…yet here we all are, gazing into the lights of a Black Mirror. Searching for some sign of hope, or way out of the current situation in which we find ourselves.

We face together, a great irony. In our present, desperate state, we must peer through the Looking Glass Darkly…. The object of our Peril may also be the object of our Victory.

If there is to be an escape…
…it will be crafted, not discovered.

My highest hope is that we may craft a more-perfect World together.

My Screen-Time
Dilema

Perhaps this entire endeavor is merely the projection of my problems onto the rest of you and the World at large?

Even if that is the case I suspect I am not alone in this particular dilema…

Three Harsh Realities

1. Many of the skills I have acquired revolve around the digital world. Websites, marketing, finance, software…

2. The authentic version of me prioritizes tending to the water, land, and the Eternal Gardens of Magick…

3. The current economic landscape requires I sell my time on the screen instead of bandying-about the fields.

Multiple Dilemas

At present, I sell my time to the universities, the healthsystems, and the government. My location is rural with modest industry. Options are limited.
–This is my dilema–

These are not institutions I particularly support, at least in their current incarnations. Yet they support my survival.
–This is my dilema–

I cannot grow roses, peonies, or cherry trees in sufficient quantities to financially survive (yet).
–This is my dilema–

A Shift In The Energy

Life has truly blessed me. The work in the institutions is more than bearable, it takes roughly half my working-time, and allows me to support my family and now “hobby” projects such as the orchard.

For this flexibility and resource I am truly grateful.

…but the time has come to shift the energy

The ‘New’ Way
Is The ‘Old’ Way

If I am to spend half my time at a screen for survival then I would prefer it was aimed at a pursuit more intrinsically meaningful than a government healthcare initiative… This should be an easy hurdle to clear.

With the RiverWraith I may focus my efforts on empowering fellow Magickians, guiding them to the doorways of a New Exchange. Major shifts are occuring… Where our attention goes, our energy flows.
